The Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London is the world's leading academic psychedelic research institution, directed by Robin Carhart-Harris. The center has produced more peer-reviewed psychedelic research publications than any other single institution, including foundational neuroimaging studies using fMRI and MEG, clinical trials for depression and end-of-life anxiety, and theoretical frameworks like the REBUS model of psychedelic action and the entropic brain hypothesis. Carhart-Harris and colleagues have fundamentally advanced understanding of both the neuroscience of the psychedelic state and its therapeutic applications.
